Job summary

ValueOne is seeking a Senior Category Manager for an interim consulting assignment in Stockholm or Västerås. You will lead strategic and operational procurement of direct materials and raw materials for battery production, quickly integrating with supplier relationships and processes to drive procurement forward.

The role requires strong negotiation skills, fluency in Swedish and English, and the ability to deliver results from day one.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in strategic and operational procurement of direct materials and raw materials.
• Proven negotiation skills and ability to drive procurement activities with minimal onboarding.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of direct materials and raw materials for battery production.
• Follow up on existing supplier relationships and performance.
• Negotiate prices, terms, contracts and other commercial matters with suppliers.
• Drive sourcing and supplier selection based on cost, quality, capacity, and delivery.
• Ensure material availability and manage potential delivery or capacity challenges.
• Identify cost savings and commercial improvements.
• Collaborate with production, supply chain, quality and other internal functions.
• Take over existing procurement activities and establish structure and momentum.
