Job summary

Senior Material (Europe) AB seeks a structured Logistics Coordinator to join the Operations team in coordinating inbound and outbound logistics across Sweden and Europe. You will liaise with Purchasing, Finance, and Operations to ensure cost-effective and compliant material flow, while maintaining robust communication with freight forwarders and service providers.

You will prepare shipping and customs documentation, monitor shipments, and continuously seek improvements in efficiency and cost

Qualifications

• Completed upper secondary education; a related degree is an advantage.
• Experience in logistics or international transportation is required or preferred.
• Good understanding of import/export procedures and shipping documentation.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound shipments of raw materials, equipment, and other goods to Sweden.
• Arrange outbound shipments of finished products to customers across the EU and international markets.
• Communicate and negotiate with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and other logistics partners.
• Collect and compare freight quotations, transportation solutions, transit times, and service offerings.
• Coordinate transportation schedules to ensure on-time deliveries and minimize costs.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to support procurement and supplier deliveries.
• Work with Finance to process logistics contracts, invoices, and payment documentation.
• Prepare and maintain shipping and customs documentation and records.
• Monitor shipments and resolve transportation issues or delays.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, customs regulations, and trade requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency, service quality, and cost performance.
