Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of capital, fit-out, refurbishment, infrastructure, and workplace projects in Sweden.   • 8-10+ years' project management experience in construction, fit-out, M&E, FM, or capital delivery.
  • Proven Principal Contractor experience with strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Degree in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Professional qualification: PMP, PRINCE2, APM PMQ, or equivalent.
  • IOSH Managing Safely and/or SMSTS; strong CDM knowledge.
  • Desirable: NEBOSH, Chartered status (MRICS, MCIOB, MAPM, CEng), or sustainability qualifications.

Role Purpose

Experienced Senior Project Manager sought to lead end-to-end delivery of capital, fit-out, refurbishment, infrastructure, and workplace projects across a client portfolio in Sweden. Acting as Principal Contractor, you will drive safe, commercial, and best-in-class delivery while serving as the primary client interface and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead full project lifecycle delivery across multiple concurrent projects within scope, budget, programme, and quality requirements.
  • Maintain portfolio oversight, governance, and reporting across all assigned projects.
  • Hold full P&L accountability, including budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and contractor procurement.
  • Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, Principal Contractor obligations, and all QHSE requirements.
Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for clients, senior stakeholders, landlords, FM teams, and consultants.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships across all project levels, ensuring alignment of business requirements and project outcomes.
  • Facilitate project governance through steering committees, progress meetings, and decision-making forums.
  • Deliver high-quality communications, executive reports, and presentations tailored to senior audiences.
  • Proactively manage stakeholder expectations, resolving issues early and maintaining confidence throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead, inspire, and mentor multidisciplinary project teams including Project Managers, Project Supervisors, site teams, consultants, and supply chain partners.
  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture built on accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development.
  • Coach and develop team members, supporting career progression and building internal project management capability.
  • Set clear objectives, drive performance, and ensure the team has the tools, skills, and support needed to deliver consistently excellent outcomes.
  • Champion best practices, lessons learned, and knowledge sharing across the wider project management community.
Business Development & Growth
  • Leverage on-site presence and deep client relationships to identify and develop new project opportunities across the existing portfolio.
  • Build and maintain a strong short-, medium-, and long-term project pipeline, supporting sustained business growth in Sweden.
  • Actively network with clients, industry contacts, consultants, and supply chain partners to raise profile and generate leads.
  • Support proposals, presentations, and client pursuits, contributing technical expertise and project references.
  • Promote CBRE's project management capabilities through case studies, site visits, and industry engagement.
  • Identify market trends and client needs to position the business competitively and drive strategic growth initiatives.
  • 8-10+ years' project management experience in construction, fit-out, M&E, FM, or capital delivery.
  • Proven Principal Contractor experience with strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Excellent client-facing, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Degree in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Professional qualification: PMP, PRINCE2, APM PMQ, or equivalent.
  • IOSH Managing Safely and/or SMSTS; strong CDM knowledge.
