Job summary

ALTEN Sweden is seeking a senior production engineer to ensure health and safety, quality and delivery through problem solving, analysis and hands-on support at our factory in Västerås.

You'll work with line technicians and operators, run weekly reviews with line managers, and develop assembly methods, PFMEA and ensure the right tools meet requirements at the right station. Strong experience in production, problem solving and project management is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as a production engineer developing assembly factories.
• Master of Science in production engineering or supply chain or similar.
• Good knowledge in ERP systems.
• Good knowledge in Lean and World Class Manufacturing.
• Experience in production, problem solving and project management.

Responsibilities

• Senior Production Engineer will work closely with line technicians and operators daily.
• Weekly meetings with line managers and support functions to ensure progress.
• Responsible for developing assembly methods, instructions and PFMEA and ensure proper tools at the right station.
