Job summary

ALTEN Sweden is seeking a Senior Production Engineer to ensure health and safety, quality and delivery through problem solving, analysis, and providing equipment support.

You will collaborate with line technicians and operators, develop assembly methods, and drive PFMEA to meet targets. A Master’s degree in production engineering or related field and strong ERP/Lean expertise are required.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as a production engineer developing assembly factories.
• Master of Science in production engineering or supply chain or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and Lean/World Class Manufacturing.
• Experience in production, problem solving and project management.

Responsibilities

• Develop assembly methods and work instructions, and implement PFMEA.
• Ensure the right tools and equipment are available at the correct station/department.
• Lead weekly meetings with line managers and support functions to track progress.

We’re looking for a senior production engineer in our current factory to ensure that we achieve health and safety, quality and delivery requirements by problem solving, analyzing, and providing support and equipment to effectively achieve such goals.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• As Senior Production Engineer you will work closely together with support function such as line technicians and operators in the daily work.
• Weekly meetings with line managers and support functions to ensure progress on current activities and priorities.
• Responsible for development of assembly methods, instructions and PFMEA and ensure that the right tools, which meet the requirements, are presented at the right station/department.

Your background:

• at least 5 years of experience working as production engineer developing assembly factories
• Master of science within production engineering or supply chain or similar
• Good knowledge in ERP systems
• Good knowledge in Lean and World Class Manufacturing
• Experience in production, problem solving and project management
