Job summary

Deel is seeking a Senior Product Manager II to own and influence the product strategy, roadmap and go-to-market plans. You will collaborate with senior leaders, designers, engineers and subject‑matter experts across the organization to ensure fast delivery of a best‑in‑class experience to Deel’s global customer base.

You will mentor growing PMs, define impactful OKRs, and set up dashboards to monitor progress.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of product management experience in a fast pace environment (ideally scaleup/start‑up).
• Independent and autonomous leader
• Understanding of both UX and UI

Responsibilities

• Autonomous PM with active role in cross‑team discoveries; develop early PMs.
• Identify, diagnose and articulate customer problems; evaluate solutions.
• Frame problems via Feasibility, Desirability and Viability with stakeholders; prioritise impactful initiatives.
• Formulate business/user questions, collect data/insights to assess opportunities for impactful OKRs.
• Deep understanding of users, personas, use cases of your product and Deel.
• Plan, drive, and project manage initiatives to ship on a reasonable schedule, leveraging scrum/agile/etc.
• Delivering elegant solutions to complex problems from scoping to launch.
• Balance short-term vs long‑term, speed vs debt.
• Be a valuable partner to your team (engineers, design, product ops, operations) in solving user problems effectively.
• Partner with Product Design to ensure high quality/UX and minimize negative impact to other teams.
• Ensure there is always sufficient work in a ready state to support efficient development, with a buffer for escalations.
• Ensure major releases have defined KPIs tied to OKRs and monitor post-launch results.
• Set up dashboards for progress monitoring and KPI/OKR alignment.
• Identify opportunities, prioritise work, and build quarterly focused + year‑long roadmaps.
• Update plans based on new data and shifting priorities while balancing speed and cost.
• Structure product review sessions and planning cycles; gather proactive stakeholder feedback.
• Able to build buy‑in and support for initiatives across PMs and stakeholders.
