Job summary

Lyten is seeking a Senior Cell Design Engineer to drive the development of Li‑ion and Li‑S cells for energy storage and automotive applications. You will set up long‑term cell development programs and report to the director of Li S cell development.

You will lead cross-functional teams, design DOE plans, and act as the technical liaison for internal stakeholders and customers, ensuring milestones are met in a high‑pressure, international environment.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in chemical engineering, electrochemistry, chemistry or materials science and engineering.
• Extensive experience in Li-ion and Li-S cell development.
• Experience with large-scale battery fabrication and validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop lithium-ion and Li-S cells for energy storage, EVs, and applications.
• Lead cell design and development, including DOEs and development strategy.
• Provide technical leadership for internal projects and customer engagements.
• Manage R&D labs scale and support manufacturing scaling.
