Job summary

Lyten Labs AB is seeking a Senior Cell Design Engineer to lead the mechanical design and development of Li‑ion and Li‑S batteries for innovative applications in Energy Storage Systems and Electric Vehicles. This role requires strong experience in battery development and CAD tools like NX and CATIA.

The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience with a solid educational background in Mechanical Engineering and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with customers and coordinate with various teams to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of mechanical design experience, preferably in power electronics, high-performance lithium-ion batteries, or related industries.
• Strong experience in lithium-ion battery cell development preferred.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and development of Li‑ion and Li‑S batteries.
• Act as the primary technical interface with customers.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams for project execution.
• Review and approve mechanical drawings and 3D models.
