Job summary

Integro Consulting AB is seeking an experienced HIL Development Engineer in Gothenburg, Sweden. You will design, implement, and maintain advanced HIL environments for vehicle system validation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure robust test platforms.

The role emphasizes real-time simulation, ECU integration, and automotive network troubleshooting, including CAN, CAN FD, LIN, and automotive Ethernet. A hands-on, ownership-driven mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Several years of hands-on experience in automotive HIL development and integration.
• Strong MATLAB/Simulink modelling and real-time simulation experience.
• Experience with ECU integration and automotive communication networks.
• Familiarity with HIL platforms (dSPACE, Vector, ETAS, NI, Speedgoat).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, commission, and maintain HIL test rigs and environments.
• Integrate ECUs, I/O systems, sensors, actuators into HIL platforms.
• Configure HIL systems using industry tools and platforms.
• Develop real-time test environments for vehicle subsystems and full validation.
• Perform end-to-end debugging across ECUs, networks, models, and HIL benches.
• Support improvement of HIL architectures and validation strategies.
• Mentor colleagues and drive technical initiatives.
