Job summary

Integro Consulting AB in Gothenburg seeks an experienced HIL Engineer to join an advanced automotive engineering team. You will work with HIL rigs, test infrastructure, system verification and test automation to support the development and verification of next-generation vehicle systems, including ECUs, sensors and networks.

The role is hands-on and collaborative, with frequent cross‑disciplinary interactions.

Qualifications

• Experience in HIL, automotive testing, verification or test infrastructure.
• B.S./M.S. in engineering or related field required.
• Good English communication skills; Swedish an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, configure and improve HIL rigs and test environments.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in HIL setups.

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced HIL Engineer to join an advanced automotive engineering team in Gothenburg.

You will work with HIL rigs, test infrastructure, system verification and test automation, supporting the development and verification of next-generation vehicle systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, configure and improve HIL rigs and test environments.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in HIL setups.
• Support system and end-to-end verification activities.
• Develop and improve automated test solutions.
• Configure and integrate ECUs, communication interfaces and simulation systems.
• Coordinate HIL infrastructure activities with verification and development teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of test environments and processes.

Your Background

We are looking for experience in HIL, automotive testing, verification or test infrastructure.

Relevant experience includes:

• HIL rig development and maintenance
• Test automation and scripting
• ECU and embedded systems testing
• System verification and validation
• Hardware/software troubleshooting
• Automotive communication networks

Experience with CANoe/CANalyzer, dSPACE, MATLAB/Simulink, Python, CAN/CAN FD, Automotive Ethernet or CI/CD is a strong advantage.

Experience from infotainment, HMI, driver interaction or connected vehicles is also beneficial.
