Job summary

Integro Consulting AB is seeking an experienced HIL Development Engineer to design, integrate, and maintain advanced HIL environments for vehicle system validation in Gothenburg. You will develop real-time simulations, model vehicle subsystems, and troubleshoot complex embedded systems.

Key tasks include coordinating with development, verification, and integration teams, configuring HIL platforms, and driving architectural improvements for robust validation workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Several years of hands-on automotive HIL development experience.
• Strong MATLAB/Simulink modelling and real-time simulation skills.
• Experience with ECU integration and automotive networks.
• Hands-on with HIL platforms (dSPACE/Vector/ETAS/NI/Speedgoat).
• Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities in complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain HIL rigs and environments.
• Integrate ECUs, I/O, sensors, and actuators into HIL platforms.
• Build real-time test environments for vehicle subsystems.
• Define and optimize HIL architecture and interfaces.
• Develop MATLAB/Simulink models for vehicle systems and environment simulation.
• Perform model validation, calibration, and debugging in real-time.
• Lead troubleshooting of hardware, software, and simulation issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive technical solutions.
