Job summary

Integro Consulting AB in Gothenburg, Sweden seeks an experienced Senior HIL Development Engineer for Automotive Embedded Systems to design, integrate, and maintain HIL environments. You will work with ECUs, I/O, and networks, developing real-time test benches and validating vehicle subsystems.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, technical ownership, and cross-functional leadership to ensure robust test setups and continuous improvement in HIL workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Several years of hands-on experience in automotive HIL development and integration.
• Proven experience building and developing HIL environments.
• Proficient in MATLAB/Simulink modelling and real-time simulation.
• Experience integrating ECUs and automotive networks in HIL setups.
• Strong understanding of automotive embedded systems and validation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, commission, and maintain HIL test rigs and environments.
• Integrate ECUs, I/O, sensors, actuators into HIL platforms for vehicle validation.
• Configure HIL systems using dSPACE, Vector, ETAS, NI, Speedgoat.
• Develop real-time test environments for subsystems and full-vehicle validation.
• Lead end-to-end debugging across ECUs, networks, and hardware.
• Mentor colleagues and drive improvements in HIL architectures.
