Job summary

Capgemini Engineering Sverige AB is looking for a HIL Engineer in Göteborgs kommun to work in cutting-edge software testing for automotive partners. You will design and maintain HIL test environments, ensuring state-of-the-art verification and validation processes.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in Engineering and at least 7 years of experience in HIL or SIL test environments. You will work in a collaborative atmosphere with opportunities for innovative projects and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years in HIL or SIL test environment development.
• Experience working with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet, UDS).
• Valid European driving license and understanding of automotive safety standards (e.g. ISO 26262).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, optimize, and maintain HIL test environments.
• Lead technical decisions, define HIL architecture, and develop test strategy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for software integration and customer interactions.
• Conduct verification and validation testing, including regression testing.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex issues, improving system reliability.
