Job summary

Inriver is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to lead technical engagements with strategic customers from discovery to go-live. You will design solutions for ambiguous enterprise environments and mentor other engineers.

You’ll own the architecture, build complex integrations with ERP/PLM (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics), and collaborate with product leadership and customer executives. Hybrid Malmö-based role with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering, solutions engineering, or equivalent technical/customer-facing experience.
• Proficient in modern languages such as Python, TypeScript, Go, Java, or C# and know when to build vs. buy.
• Strong REST/GraphQL API experience and enterprise integration patterns at scale.
• Track record of managing enterprise customer relationships and guiding senior technical discussions.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture and delivery strategy for large, complex customer engagements, from discovery through go-live.
• Advise CIOs/VPs of Digital on how Inriver fits into their systems landscape.
• Design and build complex integrations with ERP/PLM systems, DAM, and downstream channels.
• Model enterprise-scale product data structures and guide onboarding migrations and pilots.
• Mentor fellow engineers and contribute to product/roadmap decisions.
• Lead real-time debugging of escalated production issues with customer teams.
• Travel to customer sites as needed ( roughly 20–40% ).
