Job summary

Starbreeze in Stockholm is seeking an experienced engine programmer to drive core systems and console optimization. You will architect, implement, and evolve low-level engine functionality for UE4/UE5, ensuring scalable, maintainable game architecture across PC and consoles.

This in-office role requires deep C++ expertise, a passion for performance, and a collaborative mindset. You will mentor engineers, lead code reviews, and collaborate with Technical Directors and production leads to evaluate

Qualifications

• Strong C++ proficiency and engine architecture knowledge.
• Experience with UE4/UE5 and console optimization.
• At least one shipped title on PC or console with Unreal Engine.

Responsibilities
