Job summary

Quandify is seeking a senior embedded engineer to own firmware across our water‑leak sensor platform. You will design and optimize low‑power firmware for battery-operated devices, work closely with hardware, firmware, and cloud teams, and drive production‑grade software from prototype to deployment.

You will bring 5+ years of C/C++ on constrained targets, experience with RTOS or bare metal, and strong debugging skills across schematics, scope, and SWD/JTAG.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional C (C++ welcome) on resource-constrained targets.
Experience taking products from prototype to production.
Deep low-power design with sleep modes and duty cycling.
Exposure to certification work (CE, RED, EMC) or metrology requirements.
Academic education in embedded systems or related field.

Responsibilities

Own firmware across the product family from concept to production.
Collaborate with hardware, cloud and app teams to ensure robust firmware.
Hardware bring-up and debugging with schematics, oscilloscope and SWD/JTAG.
Develop automated firmware tests and CI pipelines.
Prototype, test, and optimize power budgets for battery-powered devices.
