Job summary

Quandify is building the next generation of intelligent water leak detectors in Stockholm. We seek an embedded engineer who loves turning prototypes into robust hardware and firmware, debugging timing, and optimizing power for battery-powered IoT devices.

You will own the hardware lifecycle from concept through production, collaborating with software and commercial teams to ship real-world IoT products with proven reliability.

Qualifications

• Academic background in embedded systems, electronics, mechatronics, robotics, or related field.
• Proven experience with C/C++ in resource-constrained hardware environments.
• Hands-on PCB design, prototyping, testing and manufacturing understanding.
• Experience with microcontroller ecosystems such as ESP32, STM32, TI MSP430 or similar.
• Familiarity with wireless protocols and IoT frameworks (BLE, WiFi, LoRa, MQTT, Thread).
• Broader programming skills beyond embedded (Python, scripting, tooling).
• Experience shipping IoT hardware products to real users and automating tests.

Responsibilities

• Own concept through schematic, layout, firmware, testing and production.
• Work closely with software and commercial teams during the product lifecycle.
• Debug timing issues and optimize power for battery-driven IoT devices.
• Bring new PCBs to life, from prototype to manufacturing readiness.
• Automate testing to improve release confidence and speed.
