ASSA ABLOY AB is seeking a Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer to own the design and evolution of embedded firmware for wireless access devices, operating in security-critical environments. You will shape architecture and ensure reliability, performance, and security across global deployments.

Qualifications

5+ years of embedded C development on ARM Cortex MCUs (STM32, nRF52, TI, or similar).
Solid experience with RTOS and/or bare-metal systems.
Strong background in firmware architecture and specifications.
Proven track record in mentoring more junior developers.
Practical experience with CI/CD setup.

Responsibilities

Develop secure and reliable embedded firmware in C for ARM Cortex M0-M4 platforms.
Implement and improve wireless connectivity features including BLE, Zigbee, NFC/ISO14443.
Debug complex embedded systems using oscilloscopes, logic analysers, and other hardware tools.
Work across RTOS and bare-metal environments, contributing to robust architectures.
Improve low-power performance and battery efficiency for connected devices.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern embedded development practices.
