Job summary

NKT in Sweden seeks a Bid Manager to coordinate HVDC Onshore and HVAC Offshore tender activities from request to contract award. You will align with commercial, technical and management teams and shape proposals for high‑value energy projects.

The role requires a university degree and several years in bid/proposal management, plus risk awareness, fluent German and strong English. You will manage customer communications and drive tender strategy in a global company.

Qualifications

A university degree in business, engineering or a related field.
Several years of experience in bid management, proposal management, tender management or strategic procurement.
Knowledge of Commercial and Tender Management.
Experience with risk management in tender processes.
Fluent German and very good written and spoken English.
Structured, clear communicator comfortable working with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to balance commercial needs, risk awareness and customer requirements in a professional way.

Responsibilities

Coordinate departments and partners involved in the tender process.
Manage customer communication and internal tender updates.
Prepare and support tender negotiations and approval presentations.
Review risks and check proposal plausibility before submission.
Develop bid strategy and establish practical best practices.
Coordinate commercial tenders from request to contract.
Work closely with commercial, technical and management teams on Onshore HVDC and Offshore HVAC projects.
Travel may be required for customer meetings, negotiations or internal alignment.
