Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Sweden is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to transform a customer's application landscape into a modern microservices architecture hosted on Microsoft Azure. You will design, develop, test, and maintain backend logic, REST APIs, and integrations using .NET or Java, with Oracle/PLSQL/PostgreSQL data stores, and collaborate across analysts, architects, frontend and DevOps.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong expertise in at least one stack: .NET or Java.
• Experience designing backend logic, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Experience with Oracle, PL/SQL, and/or PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native development, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Terraform, observability and monitoring.
• Collaborative, agile team work with business analysts, architects, frontend and DevOps.
• Knowledge of AI/LLM-assisted software development is a plus.
• Swedish work permit and/or residency required.
