Job summary

Proxify, headquartered in Stockholm, is expanding its AI-enabled consulting practice. We are seeking a senior technical and consultative counterpart to drive pre-sales with clients, understand business challenges, and translate opportunities into clearly scoped AI projects.

You will own the journey from discovery to proposal, collaborate with our commercial team, and hand over to Forward Deployed AI Engineers for implementation. Occasional client site visits are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering, solutions architecture or technical consulting.
• Hands-on experience building or designing LLM-powered applications, RAG pipelines, AI agents and automation.
• Outstanding client-facing skills with senior stakeholders.
• Experience translating ambiguous business problems into technical solutions, project scopes, estimates and proposals.
• Business and commercial judgment to assess value, balance complexity and avoid overengineering.
• Systems thinking across architectures, data environments, integrations and constraints.
• Fluent professional English for communicating to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ownership and autonomy to manage multiple opportunities in parallel.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical pre-sales and discovery with prospective clients.
• Identify high-value AI opportunities and decide when simpler solutions are more appropriate.
• Design credible high-level architectures and assess feasibility, security and operational requirements.
• Scope and estimate projects with clear deliverables, assumptions and technical requirements.
• Support winning deals with proposals, solution presentations and handling objections.
• Enable successful delivery by handing over to Forward Deployed AI Engineers.
• Improve offerings with repeatable approaches and best practices for scaling AI solutions.
• Occasional client site visits.
