Job summary

Proxify in Stockholm is seeking an experienced AI engineer to work with clients, building agentic systems, and leading Proxify engineers on projects.

The role is 80% hands-on development and 20% keeping clients up to date and collaborating with the product manager. A strong background in software engineering, ML and generative AI is required, with experience in LangChain and LLM/ RAG tech, and cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering with CS, ML and generative AI background.
• Track record of shipping LLM, RAG and agentic systems to production.
• Hands-on with RAG pipelines, multiple LLM providers and frameworks (LangChain, vLLM, PyTorch/TensorFlow).
• Strong Python and solid engineering habits (version control, testing, code review) and containerised deployments on AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Quick to pick up unfamiliar codebases and work inside others’ stacks.
• Solution-based, consultative approach: start from the client’s problem.
• Strong professional English communication; able to lead client conversations.

Responsibilities

• Get under the hood of each client’s architecture, data and integrations.
• Turn a scoped brief into an end-to-end agentic system in the client environment.
• Lead engineers on each project and set the technical direction.
• Be the client’s day-to-day technical contact for updates and questions.
• Keep multiple projects moving and surface scope changes when needed.
