Job summary

NordAxon AB in Sweden is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer with 5+ years of professional experience to design, develop and deploy AI-powered solutions. This hands‑on role combines software engineering with generative AI, LLMs, and cloud technologies to deliver production‑grade systems for customers.

You will work with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to translate business challenges into robust, scalable architectures, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and contribute to NordAxon's

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience in AI/ML or related fields.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience designing and deploying production‑grade AI solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit‑learn, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar.
• Experience developing solutions using LLMs, Generative AI, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI agents.
• Experience with Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Solid understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, vector databases, MLOps, CI/CD, model deployment, monitoring, and software engineering best practices.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications and intelligent software solutions.
• Build solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI agents.
• Developing machine learning models and deploying them into production.
• Integrating AI solutions with APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.
• Designing scalable AI architectures and contributing to technical decision‑making.
• Working with modern MLOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Collaborating directly with customers to translate business challenges into robust AI solutions.
• Contributing to internal innovation, knowledge sharing, and the continuous development of NordAxon's AI capabilities.
