Job summary

Klarna is seeking a sanctions expert in Compliance to work across OFAC, EU, UK, and UN regimes. You will interpret designations, assess impacts on the business, and embed sanctions requirements in product processes.

You will lead risk assessments, shape group policies, and advise cross-functional teams on policy needs, case decisions, and remediation actions. You will collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and business partners, handling high-stakes decisions and ensuring timely, accurate policy

Qualifications

• Hands-on expertise with OFAC, EU, UK and UN regimes and translating designations into policy.
• End-to-end risk and control assessment experience, including annual sanctions risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Interpret new designations and regulatory changes and translate them into Group policies.
• Run the annual sanctions risk and exposure assessment and convert findings into policies or standards.
• Advise product and business teams on policy requirements within the NPA process.
