Job summary

Klarna is seeking an experienced Operational Risk professional to strengthen our risk team. You will drive data-informed risk management across a global product portfolio, analyzing structured and unstructured data to monitor performance and deliver insights for decisions.

Responsibilities include independent testing, process reviews, and supporting regulatory reporting and governance. Collaborative work with product, engineering, data science, and operations is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in fintech, banking, or consulting with a focus on risk management.
• Proven experience performing independent data analysis and contributing to risk initiatives.
• Experience conducting control testing and process reviews within a risk or compliance environment.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and experience supporting risk reporting processes.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.

• Strengthen the Operational Risk team by driving data-informed risk management across our product portfolio.
• Analyze structured and unstructured data to monitor risk performance and deliver actionable insights.
• Conduct independent control testing and process reviews to evaluate risk frameworks.
