Job summary

Cytiva in Sweden is seeking a Sales Support Engineer to strengthen our global Hardware Quotation Support team. You will develop commercial and technical proposals and work with the sales and design teams to meet customer needs and timelines.

The role requires a Master’s degree in engineering and several years of bioprocessing experience, with strong English communication and the ability to translate complex requirements into clear quotes.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Automation or equivalent).
• Several years of proven industry experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of bioprocessing and manufacturing of biopharma products.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and present complex material clearly.
• Excellent communicator with both internal and external stakeholders.
• High level of proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop commercial and technical proposals which maximize profitability and add value for the customer.
• Provide technical and product expertise of Bioprocess hardware and automation solutions during pre‑sales and quotation phase
• Receive, analyze, and prioritize quote requests to ensure appropriate, timely quote responses which satisfy customer expectations and meet user requirement specifications (URS)
• Interpret customer specifications, drawings, and process application, and document any deviation from the URS
• Interface with sales, design teams, project management and other key personnel to gather quotation information and evaluate technical feasibility for customization and/or solution
• Work tightly with the project office and design organization to ensure smooth handover to project, design, and manufacturing for awarded customer orders
• Maintenance of your own quote portfolio and adherence to commercial, quality, and regulatory processes and systems. Fulfil compliance according to International Trade Control.

Customized Engineering (CE) is a department within Cytiva delivering customized downstream hardware and software solutions used in Biopharma development and manufacturing. Each customer order becomes a project with dedicated resources from project management, design, manufacturing, sourcing, and verification teams. We are now looking for a Sales Support Engineer to further strengthen our global Hardware Quotation Support team, HQS.

The Sales Support Engineer is responsible for ensuring timely deliveries of high-quality quote packages, including specifications, lead time, price and cost estimates, all according to customer needs and expectations. The Sales Support Engineer works closely with the global commercial organization and subject matter experts to analyze technical feasibility in complex deals with the objective of developing the commercial solution and issuing a quote package responding to the customer needs.

What You'll Do

Desired Characteristics

• Experience from large Biopharma projects, working at an engineering company or as a customer in commercial manufacturing
• Product knowledge and technical expertise within the Bioprocess equipment area
• Familiarity with GMP and other relevant standards issued by FDA, ISO, etc.
