Job summary

Cytiva in Sweden is seeking a Product Manager for the UNICORN software to represent the voice of the customer and shape the product lifecycle strategy across automation and software teams.

You will collaborate with customers and commercial teams to keep the portfolio competitive, drive pricing and development, and support the organization's sales efforts. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and experience in software product management or automation are required, along with a Swedish work permit.

Responsibilities

• Represent the voice of the customer in UNICORN software development and lifecycle decisions.
• Develop and drive the product lifecycle strategy including pricing and development recommendations.
• Collaborate with software, automation, and commercial teams to keep the portfolio competitive.
• Provide product training materials and sales support to the commercial organization.
• Own the business case for new product introductions and retirements within the UNICORN portfolio.

As a Product manager for the UNICORN software you will be part of a highly competent and engaged team of product managers located globally.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

• With focus on automation solutions, represent “voice of the customer” for your products inside Cytiva, making sure quality and customer needs are reflected in the product lifecycle strategy.


• Develop and drive the product life cycle strategy for your portfolio, including pricing, margin optimization and recommendations of development to keep the portfolio vital, profitable and competitive.


• Through close collaboration with customers and commercial teams ensure UNICORN stays competitive.


• Work collaboratively with software/automation/digital teams across all Cytiva OpCo’s and ensure we stay in the forefront of instrument control and automation software.


• Support the commercial organization with product training, marketing material and sales tools.


• Business owner for new product introductions and product retirement within your product segment.

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree


• Work experience in software product management, software product marketing, software sales or relevant experience in the automation field.


• Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams in a matrix organization


• Strong business and technical acumen with a customer focused mindset


• Excellent oral and written communications skills and a proven ability to work globally


• Valid Swedish working permit

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience in a Life Sciences based business


• Knowledge of protein research and the customer needs in this market
