Job summary

Black Pen Recruitment is seeking a seasoned Scrum Master to join a EU-wide remote project in Information Technology/Software. You will work with a major client's IT team on a remote basis, coordinating agile ceremonies, backlogs, and cross-team collaboration.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years IT experience, SM2+ certification, and strong knowledge of SAFe/Nexus/LeSS frameworks. Proficiency in English is essential, and experience with Azure DevOps or Jira is valued.

Qualifications

• University degree and at least 8 years IT experience.
• Minimum 3 years as Scrum Master at SM2 level or above.
• Led at least 2 production teams through full sprint cycles.
• Implemented data-driven improvements to increase velocity or reduce lead time.
• Experience coordinating cross-team work via Scrum-of-Scrums or PI Planning.
• Deep knowledge of the Scrum Guide and Agile Manifesto.
• Proficient in agile metrics and dashboards.
• Excellent command of English.
• PSM II or higher and SAFe 5/6 Agilist certifications.

Responsibilities

• Organize and facilitate agile ceremonies and backlog refinement.
• Collaborate with Product Owner to manage the backlog.
• Coach team on empiricism and incremental delivery.
• Track flow metrics and guide data-driven improvement.
• Promote agile standards and remove impediments.
• Ensure Definition of Done and quality gates.
• Coordinate with other SCRUM Masters and Product Owners.
