Qualifications

• Experience building backend services in production at scale.
• Proficient in a backend language such as Java, Scala, Go or similar.
• Understanding API design, schema evolution, and backward compatibility.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate high-availability, low-latency backend services that make access decisions.
• Deliver features and improvements on the team's roadmap with engineers and manager.
• Improve resilience and operability of core access systems (caching, invalidation, incidents).
• Contribute to design discussions, code reviews and technical decisions within the team.
• Collaborate with partner teams across catalog, playback, client and safety to land changes.
• Keep documentation current and share context within the team.
