Job summary

Grepit AB is seeking a seasoned Backend Engineer to design, develop, and operate scalable Go-based services. You will work closely with software and firmware teams to deliver reliable backend systems and robust DevOps processes.

Your expertise in RESTful APIs, Linux hosting, and cloud familiarity will help optimize performance, reliability, and data consistency across distributed services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Go is a strong advantage; other typed backends accepted.
• Experience with concurrent and asynchronous programming.
• Proven RESTful API design experience.
• Strong Linux-based hosting environments knowledge; cloud familiarity helpful.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services with Go and Twelve-Factor App.
• Create DevOps environments, CI/CD, release processes, monitoring, and alerts.
• Optimize software for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications for smooth operation.
• Collaborate with frontend and firmware teams to deliver solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
