emagine is seeking a backend engineer to join the Content Catalog domain. You will work on services and APIs that power content management, focusing on reliability and maintainability.

You will collaborate with product managers and other partners across the company to define requirements, design scalable solutions, and ensure smooth operation in production in a remote role within Sweden.

Formación

• Solid experience building and operating backend services and APIs in production at scale.
• Proficient in a backend language such as Java, Scala, Go, or similar.
• Understands API design, schema evolution, and backward compatibility.

Responsabilidades

• Understand user needs with product managers and partners to scope work and plan delivery.
• Communicate technical approaches and risks to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Explore backend services, APIs, and data flows to design, implement, and test improvements.
• Coordinate migrations, integrations, or service improvements across teams while preserving continuity.
• Evaluate changes via testing and production feedback, and share documentation and knowledge for ongoing ownership.
