Equinix is seeking a Controls Engineering Manager for the North Region (Ireland / UK / Sweden / Finland) to lead a regional team and ensure reliable, safe, scalable control systems across data centre facilities.

You will drive engineering excellence, provide technical leadership, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality infrastructure projects while championing safety and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience leading controls engineers in data centre environments.
• Strong knowledge of control system design and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and QA practices.
• Experience with CAFM systems and facility infrastructure.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a regional team of Controls Engineers.
• Provide technical oversight and design reviews for control systems.
• Collaborate with Operations, Design Engineering, Construction, Procurement, and Project Management teams.
• Drive safety, compliance, and risk management.
• Support major infrastructure projects and system implementations.
• Advance reliability, efficiency, and operational excellence.
