Job summary

Fuse Energy in Sweden is hiring a senior leader to own data centre development across Europe, from market entry strategy to energisation. You'll evaluate markets in Nordics, Iberia, Ireland, Netherlands, Germany, France and beyond, assess sites, and coordinate financing and stakeholder engagement to deliver scalable projects.

The role demands deep infrastructure knowledge, ability to work with TSOs/DSOs, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

Experience developing data centres or large-scale infrastructure projects in Europe from early-stage development through design and delivery readiness.
Deep knowledge of European data centre geographies, grid capacity, and permitting dynamics.
Strong understanding of planning and grid connection processes with regulators.
Experience with project financing structures and investor requirements.

Responsibilities

Own data centre development in Europe end-to-end: market entry through Ready-to-Build and energisation.
Evaluate and prioritise European markets (Nordics, Iberia, Ireland, Netherlands, Germany, France, CEE) based on power, grid, land, and incentives.
Identify and assess sites from technical, planning, power, and infrastructure perspectives.
Structure and support development financing with investors and lenders.
Lead planning, permitting, environmental assessment, and stakeholder engagement processes.
Mitigate technical, commercial, and development risks.
Ensure projects are deliverable, scalable, and aligned with construction requirements.
