Job summary

Amazon Data Services Sweden AB is seeking a Regional Infrastructure Operations Manager to lead one or more datacenter clusters and PoP-scale deployments in the region. This senior role combines people leadership with hands-on technical oversight across compute, engineering and logistics functions.

The role emphasizes safety, security, availability, scaling and cost optimization in AWS’s global cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

Bachelor or higher in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Construction Management.
Experience managing datacenter operations, facility engineering operations, IT critical environments or similar.
Experience leading, mentoring and coaching technical professionals at scale.
Fluency in English to communicate with global teams.
EU driving license.

Responsibilities

Hire, manage and develop the operations teams across compute, engineering and logistics functions.
Meet safety, security, availability, scaling, efficiency and cost objectives.
Plan and execute infrastructure expansions for datacenters and Colo deployments.
Operate and maintain mechanical, electrical and controls systems with preventive and corrective maintenance.
Manage vendor relationships with datacenter service providers to meet SLA targets.
Lead incident response for safety, security and availability events.
Continuously improve operating processes, procedures and tooling.
