Job summary

VAROPreem's Lysekil refinery, Sweden's largest, seeks a Production Planner to balance production requirements, inventories, and logistics flows, ensuring product quality and reliable operations. You will work with Operations, Trading, Laboratory, Shipping, and other stakeholders, analyze data, evaluate alternatives, and develop practical plans that improve efficiency while maintaining safety.

Qualifications

University degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering & Management, Supply Chain Management, Maritime Logistics, or related field.
Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capabilities.
Professional proficiency in Swedish and English.

Responsibilities

Plan and optimise production, inventory levels, product blends, and logistics flows.
Ensure the right products are available at the right place and at the right time.
Analyse operational data and convert insights into actionable production plans.
Coordinate activities with Operations, Laboratory, Trading, Shipping, and other stakeholders.
Follow up on sampling and quality assurance activities.
Maintain production plans, reports, and operational documentation.
Contribute to continuous improvements of processes, working methods, and operational efficiency.
