Job summary

Sandvik is seeking an Inventory Planner to ensure material availability for production and aftermarket needs while balancing service, cost, and working capital. You will optimize inventory across raw materials, WIP and finished goods, analyze demand patterns and supply risks, and report to the Inventory Manager in Malmö, Sweden.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with ERP/MRP systems, and proficiency in Excel and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and implementing inventory control strategies to improve availability and service.
• Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making.
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP planning processes and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory performance and identify risks related to shortages, excess stock, and obsolescence.
• Develop replenishment plans and inventory strategies balancing customer needs with investment.
• Collaborate with production planning, procurement and suppliers to secure continuity of supply.
• Analyze performance metrics and maintain inventory dashboards and planning reports.
• Support S&OP, demand planning and capacity-constrained activities.
• Drive improvements in inventory accuracy, planning processes and system use.
