Job summary

Icomera seeks a Component Engineer to own lifecycle management of third-party products across our connectivity solutions for public transport. You will coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, and Supply Chain to ensure compliance and ongoing improvement.

You will drive supplier requirements, manage certifications, and maintain a central repository of technical information to support reliability and long-term sustainability of our technology.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• Strong networking and network infrastructure knowledge.
• 5+ years of experience with product lifecycle management and obsolescence management.
• Knowledge of technical standards, certification processes, and compliance requirements.
• Experience working with suppliers, technical stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical relationships with third-party suppliers and ensure alignment with Icomera requirements.
• Drive product lifecycle management activities, including obsolescence planning, software and hardware updates, and end-of-life management.
• Ensure products comply with relevant railway, radio, and cybersecurity standards and certifications.
• Maintain and develop a central knowledge repository containing product documentation, certifications, software releases, and technical updates.
• Support system architecture activities by defining and managing technical requirements for third-party components
