Job summary

Icomera is seeking a System Security Lead to own system-level cybersecurity across global customer deliveries. You will coordinate vulnerability management, risk assessments, and security documentation, collaborating with Engineering, Solution Management, and customers worldwide.

You will shape security practices across complex connected systems, ensuring secure, compliant, and trusted solutions. Fluent English and a strong technical background are essential in this hybrid Göteborg-based role.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with industrial cybersecurity or critical infrastructure environments.
  • Experience assessing vulnerabilities and supporting security decisions.
  • Strong networking and knowledge of cybersecurity standards (IEC 62443, TS 50701).
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Lead system-level vulnerability management activities, including triage, severity assessment, impact analysis, and remediation coordination.
  • Identify affected configurations, components, and customer deployments and drive resolution.
  • Provide cybersecurity expertise to support internal teams and customer-facing discussions.
  • Lead and support security risk assessments, and assess vulnerabilities across environments in relation to IEC 62443-2-4 requirements.
  • Contribute to Security Case documentation, cybersecurity requirements, assurance evidence, and compliance activities for customer deliveries.

We're now looking for a System Security Lead to take ownership of system-level cybersecurity across our global customer deliveries. This is a newly created role, offering the opportunity to shape how cybersecurity is managed across complex connected systems while working closely with Engineering, Solution Management, Component Engineering, and customers worldwide.

About the Role

As a System Security Lead, you will be Icomera's subject matter expert for customer solution system-integration cybersecurity. The role focuses on securing complete customer solutions by managing vulnerabilities, assessing system-level impacts, supporting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards.

You will work across customer projects, deployments, and operational environments, acting as the central coordinator for cybersecurity activities between multiple stakeholders. From vulnerability triage and impact assessments to security documentation and assurance activities, you will help ensure that Icomera's solutions remain secure, compliant, and trusted by customers across the globe.

Key responsibilities

Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience working with industrial cybersecurity or critical infrastructure environments.
  • Experience assessing cybersecurity vulnerabilities, analysing system impacts, and supporting security-related decision-making.
  • Strong networking and network engineering knowledge.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and frameworks such as IEC 62443, TS 50701, or similar.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications and training.
  • Experience working with railway, transportation, or other regulated industries.
  • Experience performing security risk assessments and interpreting penetration test results.
  • Knowledge of security assurance activities and compliance documentation.
  • Experience evaluating third-party product vulnerabilities and release information from a system perspective.
  • Familiarity with customer-facing cybersecurity discussions and stakeholder management.

You combine a hands-on approach with strong analytical skills and enjoy taking ownership of critical security activities. Whether you're working with engineers, project teams, suppliers, or customers, you communicate clearly and confidently and can balance technical depth with business needs.
