Job summary

ABB Smart Power is seeking an engineer to develop and optimize production processes, improving efficiency, quality and cost-effectiveness through continuous line balancing. You will lead improvement projects, analyze data and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive performance.

You will work closely with production supervisors, operators and technicians to identify opportunities, solve problems and implement changes.

Qualifications

• You have an Engineering Degree or another relevant Academic Background.
• You are a self-motivated individual who takes initiative in solving problems.
• You are a driven and analytical person who understands complex relationships, takes initiative, and makes well-informed decisions to solve problems effectively.
• We appreciate experience from working in production or working with processes, where you’ve gained a practical understanding of how things connect and flow.
• Fluent in Swedish and English written and spoken.
• Positive and proactive mindset, collaborative, clear in communication and result oriented personality that enjoy solving problems.
• Lean Six Sigma Green belt is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness, including continuous balancing of production lines.
• Identify and solve production-related challenges using creative and effective solutions based on data analysis and performance trends.
• Lead and support improvement initiatives by managing projects focused on workflow optimization and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor and analyze production data to uncover improvement opportunities and drive strategic decisions.
