Job summary

SEGULA Technologies in Skövde seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to support a modern assembly plant. You will combine day-to-day production engineering with improvement projects, driving better assembly processes and new methods. The role blends technical analysis, project coordination, and hands-on production support.

You will collaborate with production teams to optimize processes, perform time studies, and contribute to continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical education or several years of experience in production and projects.
• Approximately 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Analytical, structured, and solution‑oriented mindset.
• Strong personal drive and initiative.
• Ability to plan activities as well as execute them.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Swedish and English proficiency (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive smaller projects related to production and process development.
• Plan, estimate, negotiate, procure, and support installation of production equipment and solutions.
• Create, develop, and maintain work instructions and production standards.
• Analyze and improve assembly processes, including time studies and line balancing.
• Perform risk assessments and ensure compliance with quality control procedures.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive Lean-based continuous improvements.
• Implement new production methods, ways of working, and technologies.
• Work with FMEA activities and corrective action management.
