Job summary

Beyond Gravity is seeking a Production Controlling specialist in Gothenburg to manage standard costs, BOMs, routings, and cost rates. You will analyze variances and support cost roll-ups, revaluations, and continuous improvements in costing processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in production controlling, cost accounting, or manufacturing finance.
• Good understanding of ERP systems.
• Solid understanding of production processes, BOMs, routings, and overhead allocation.
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and a structured way of working.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Calculate, maintain, and update standard costs for products, including material, labor, and overhead.
• Ensure accuracy of BOMs, routings, and cost rates in the ERP system.
• Perform and analyze standard vs. actual cost variances (material, labor, overhead, scrap, efficiency).
• Support annual and ad‑hoc cost roll‑ups and revaluations.
• Drive continuous improvements in standard costing methodologies and processes.
• Monitor and analyze production performance, productivity, and cost drivers.
• Partner with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain to explain cost deviations and propose corrective actions.
• Support make‑or‑buy analysis, capacity utilization analysis, and operational KPIs.
• Ensure correct valuation of inventories (WIP, finished goods) according to standard costs.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls within production controlling processes.
• Support internal and external audits related to manufacturing cost.
