Job summary

Stegra in Boden, northern Sweden, seeks a Project Cost Controller to join the Project Controls team in Project Delivery. You will track, forecast, and report costs, ensuring reliable financial information for project decisions.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in cost control in industrial/EPCM contexts, a related degree, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Excel and cost-control tools. Swedish language is a plus; relocation support is available.

Qualifications

3+ years in cost control or similar role.
Experience in industrial/construction/EPCM environments is a plus.
Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Strong budgets, forecasting, cost reporting, and change management.
Analytical and numerical skills to identify trends and deviations.
Proficiency with Excel and cost-control tools.

Responsibilities

Support cost control activities within an assigned project area aligned with approved budgets.
Review cost reports, forecasts, commitments, accruals, and change orders from EPCM contractors and suppliers.
Prepare cost forecasts, variance analyses, cash flow information, and monthly reporting.
Monitor project cost performance and identify trends, risks, opportunities, and deviations.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Area Managers, Finance, Procurement, Planning, and EPCM partners.
Support change management activities and assess cost impact of project changes.
Maintain project cost reports, dashboards, and documentation.
Contribute to reliable and transparent project reporting throughout execution.
