Job summary

Beyond Gravity is seeking a Production Controlling specialist in Gothenburg to manage standard costs, BOMs, routings, and cost rates. You will analyze variances and support cost roll-ups, revaluations, and continuous improvements in costing processes.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of production processes, BOMs, routings, and overhead allocation.
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and a structured way of working.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Calculate, maintain, and update standard costs for products, including material, labor, and overhead.
• Ensure accuracy of BOMs, routings, and cost rates in the ERP system.
• Perform and analyze standard vs. actual cost variances (material, labor, overhead, scrap, efficiency).
• Support annual and ad‑hoc cost roll‑ups and revaluations.
• Drive continuous improvements in standard costing methodologies and processes.
• Monitor and analyze production performance, productivity, and cost drivers.
• Partner with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain to explain cost deviations and propose corrective actions.
• Support make‑or‑buy analysis, capacity utilization analysis, and operational KPIs.
• Ensure correct valuation of inventories (WIP, finished goods) according to standard costs.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls within production controlling processes.
• Support internal and external audits related to manufacturing cost.

The roll plays a key role in financial controlling of production operations, with a strong focus on standard cost calculation, cost accuracy, and production performance analysis. The role ensures that product costs are correctly defined, maintained, and analyzed, supporting profitability, operational efficiency, and informed decision‑making in manufacturing.
