At Saab Surveillance, our business is expanding rapidly – and so is the complexity of our projects and product landscape. We are now looking for a Procurement Project Leader to strengthen our Procurement organisation and act as the operational link between Procurement and our product and project organisations.

This is a highly dynamic role for someone who enjoys navigating complex environments, driving progress across multiple stakeholders, and quickly turning ambiguity into structure and action.

Your Role: Operational, Cross-Functional, and Fast-Paced

As a Procurement Project Lead, you will belong to the Procurement organisation but work in close collaboration with product areas and cross-functional project teams. Your primary focus will be to lead and coordinate procurement-related activities within projects and operational initiatives throughout the product lifecycle.

Unlike more strategic sourcing roles, this position is centered around execution, coordination, stakeholder management, and driving momentum in ongoing projects and business-critical initiatives. Collaboration with procurement colleagues, experts in their respective commodities, is an important part of the role and is vital to success.

You will operate in the intersection between Procurement, Engineering, Planning, Production, Quality, and Project Management – ensuring alignment, resolving issues, driving actions forward, and enabling efficient decision-making.

The assignment is broad and highly varied. One week you may coordinate procurement activities for a product development project, the next you may drive risk mitigation actions, structure complex stakeholder dialogues, or support urgent operational challenges connected to deliveries and production.
