Your Role

Welcome to the naval side of life! We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join in our mission to create great value for our customer through our 9LV Combat System. Our Project Managers have the responsibility to manage and deliver our projects and have the opportunity to work directly with our external customers. As we see a growing interest in our systems, we now need to increase our team.

We integrate several types of systems and sensors into solutions that together gives the required Combat System capability to our customers. The projects are ranging from integration of a few systems up to large turn key Combat system projects.

As a project manager, you will have the responsibility for the execution of one of our customer projects including areas such as:

• Primary customer contact
• Managing the contract scope
• Establish and maintain a suitable project plan and tailored organization
• Lead the project team
• Manage sub-projects and sub-suppliers
• Provide cost and profitability forecasts
• Manage risks and opportunities

As you will be our primary contact with the customer travel both national and international is required to establish and maintain a good relation. The role might also include work with prospects as a tender manager to secure future business.

Your Profile

You are a highly motivated team player with excellent leadership skills that gain the most from a skilled project team. As the projects and customer relations often last over years, you have the interpersonal skills to build a good customer and stakeholder relation over time. Other important skills are result orientation, drive and the ability to take decisions in a challenging environment.

You have an appropriate professional or postgraduate qualification in a business or technical oriented area and at least 10+ years of relevant project management experience.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
