Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Plant Technical Support Engineer, Specialist to act as the technical anchor for the department. You will report to the Director and help shape strategy and technical agendas while coordinating across R&D, operations, and global communities.

The ideal candidate has leadership experience in a technical environment, experience with SCADA systems is valued, and fluency in English is essential. The role offers exposure to international projects and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Educational background in Information Technology, Automation or Telecommunications.
• Solid leadership skills, either as a project manager or people leader.
• Knowledge of the wind industry, experience with SCADA systems would be valued.
• Fluency in English, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Be the technical anchor for the department and report to the Director.
• Engage in technical escalations and risks to the business.
• Anchor point for the four technical communities and align initiatives.
• Stakeholder engagement in global and regional communities.
• Input to management on technical gaps, prioritisation and regional risks.
