Job summary

Saab is seeking a People Data & Reporting Specialist to strengthen our People Analytics, delivering high-quality data and insights through Workday reporting and Prism Analytics. You will collaborate with specialists to translate analytical needs into reliable reporting solutions and data products.

You will work on governance, data quality, security, and automation, while staying current with Workday releases and AI-enabled capabilities to drive continuous improvement across the organisation.

People Data & Reporting Specialist (Workday)

Your role

As a People Data & Reporting Specialist, you will strengthen the technical capabilities of our People Analytics team and help deliver high-quality people data and insights to the business.

You will work hands-on with Workday reporting and Workday Prism Analytics, preparing, transforming and delivering people data for analytics and reporting solutions. You will work closely with People Analytics Specialists to translate analytical requirements into reliable reporting and data solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Workday reporting: Develop, maintain and enhance Workday reports and reporting solutions, including Dashboards, Discovery Boards and Worksheets. Use your expertise in Workday HCM, business objects, data sources and calculated fields to build robust reporting solutions and troubleshoot reporting issues.
  • Prism & data transformation: Build and maintain data ingestion, transformations and blended datasets in Workday Prism Analytics. Combine Workday and other data sources while applying data modelling and data quality principles.
  • People data products: Develop and maintain reusable datasets and reporting solutions that enable trusted people data and insights across the organisation.
  • Continuous improvement: Stay up to date with Workday releases and emerging capabilities, including AI-supported functionality, and help assess and adopt relevant solutions.
  • Governance & best practices: Strengthen reporting and data practices through documentation, data quality, security and governance. Identify opportunities for automation, standardisation and reuse, and share knowledge with the team.

As you will be working with sensitive people data, you will ensure that the solutions you support are secure, well-governed and fit for purpose.

This position can be based in Solna, Gothenburg, Lund, or Linköping.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with 5+ years of experience in people data and reporting, with technical expertise and practical experience to contribute from day one. You are a hands-on, solution-oriented and curious professional who enjoys working close to data and technology. You take ownership, communicate clearly and enjoy collaborating with others to turn analytical requirements into practical solutions.

With a strong data and product mindset, you focus on quality, usability and continuous improvement while balancing immediate business needs with long-term sustainability. You are eager to learn, interested in emerging technologies, and understand the importance of accuracy, security and trust when working with people data.

To succeed in this role, you have:

  • Workday Report Writer certification, or equivalent knowledge, together with hands-on experience developing and maintaining Workday reporting solutions.
  • Strong expertise in Workday HCM, including business objects, data sources, calculated fields, data structures and reporting processes.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday Prism Analytics, including data ingestion, transformation and blending.
  • Experience developing and maintaining Dashboards, Discovery Boards and Worksheets.
  • Strong understanding of how people data is structured, modelled and prepared for analytical and business use.
  • Experience with data modelling, data quality, Workday integrations or APIs, BI solutions, automation and data products.
  • Experience troubleshooting reporting and data issues and working with new Workday capabilities.
  • Experience from a large, complex or multinational organisation is considered an advantage.
