Job summary

BCIC Swiss is seeking an IT Support Specialist for on-site support in Eskilstuna, Sweden. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in IT support, strong communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot both Windows and macOS systems. Responsibilities include resolving customer issues, maintaining ticket updates, and working with vendors. A valid work permit for Sweden is mandatory. Qualifications

• Several years of experience in a similar IT Support role.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Valid work permit for Sweden (mandatory).
• Local language (B2) & English fluent needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- or second-level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.
• Work with third-party vendors to remediate complex AV issues as needed.
• Provide timely communication on issue status and resolution.
• Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents.
• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft Office & Cisco Jabber.
• Basic knowledge of the Mac operating system to support Apple PC users.
• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware.
• Perform remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and authorized peripheral equipment.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems associated with network connectivity and workstation hardware/software.
