Job summary

NCC Sweden seeks a Health, Safety & Environment Specialist (HSE) for one of the country’s largest construction projects in Northern Sweden. The role requires on-site presence in Luleå with travel options across Sweden, reporting to the Head of Staff and contributing to a strong safety culture.

You will drive systematic safety work on site, collaborate with production and other project functions, and lead risk assessments, inspections, incidents, and preventive safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience on large-scale construction or industrial projects.
• Proficient in Swedish and English, strong communication skills.
• Owns and drives safety initiatives with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety inspections, collect and analyze statistics.
• Perform risk assessments and manage incidents/non-conformances.
• Develop and implement health and safety instructions and materials.
• Lead meetings and present safety information to project teams.
• Foster a strong safety culture and collaborate with client and project functions.
