Job summary

NCC is seeking a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Specialist for one of Sweden’s largest construction projects in Northern Sweden. The role focuses on leading systematic health and safety work on site, reporting to the Head of Staff, and driving a strong safety culture that protects every worker.

You will work with production and project teams on safety inspections, risk assessments, incident and non-conformance management, and preventative initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience from large-scale construction or industrial projects.
• Ability to take ownership of a specified area.
• Ability to drive initiatives independently.
• Proficient in Swedish and English, with clear communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop systematic health and safety work on site.
• Collaborate with production and project teams on safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident management.
• Manage non-conformances and preventative health and safety initiatives; prepare instructions and materials.
• Contribute to a strong safety culture where people thrive and return home safely.
